The play is performed outdoors on the grounds of the Lofotr Viking Museum at Borg. Even at midsummer the weather in Lofoten can be wild an unpredictible, so be sure to dress warmly. We may see clear skies, balmy air and bright sunlight around the clock, but equally possible is heavy rainfall and a cold wind. Waterproofs and warm underwear is essential if the weather is anything less than ideal!
There are no special seating arrangements. A limited number of folding stools will be available for hire, but we recommend bringing suitable seating pads.
The play comprises some 75 actors, live band and choir. It is performed in Norwegian – a detailed synopsis is available in English, German and French.
